Woodstock Knits is an online source for Hand Painted, Kettle Dyed and Organic & Natural Yarns created by Heidi Quick in America's most famous town, Woodstock, NY. The Hand Painted color ways are playfully named after Woodstock's local hamlets and streets. Heidi loves to knit, design and inspire people to create their own works of art with yarn. Her passion for fiber arts became her profession over five years ago when she became a full time employee and collaborator at the Woodstock Wool Company, where she taught both beginner's and advanced knitting workshops, and where she helped design the company's highly popular line of yarns. Many of those same yarns are now available here at Woodstock Knits, and look for an ever growing list of new colorways and exciting, whimsical kits and patterns. The designs at Woodstock Knits are suitable for many levels of knitters and Heidi keeps the patterns fairly simple to allow the yarn itself to inspire the knitter.
